Hi,

I am trying to book an award flight for Hobart to Wellington and return around Christmas time.

The AAdvantage search engine shows the perfect flights being available - direct flights and on days that I want.

Try the same search with QFF award search engine and not only don't the same dates show up, but all the award flights are routed via Auckland rather than direct.

Is it just a fault with the search engine and I'll be able to get the AA showing flights if I ring up or does AA get access to more flights than Qantas gives its own members?

For once I want to use QFF points rather than buying AA miles but might have no choice it seems.

Dale.
