Sorry, couldn't think of a better title.

If there is two things I like to do since I rediscovered air travel again, it's (a) keeping bottles of wine from flights (I usually try to pilfer both a red and white; sometimes I drink neither), and (b) photographing airports (and me at airports).

So far I've gotten away with both (for those that were at the recent FT forum at BNE and managed to meet me when I arrived off QF598, you can attest to the red wine bottle I pilfered), but I'm just wondering (both as a matter of opinion and legality) whether I can continue doing what I do. I'm probably more concerned of trying these overseas (LOTFAP anyone?) than in Australia. Some of my shots (which include both still and moving photos) have been taken on the tarmac or past the boarding gate anyway - they could be a source of contention.

I don't think that the issue of stealing wine needs an answer. When is stealing ok?

As far as taking photographs go, for most cameras it is not permitted from departure until after takeoff since most cameras these days have batteries in them and the use of battery operated items is prohibited at the beginning and end of flight. If a non battery operated camera, then I see no issue
