Hi All,

We have a Disney 'World Tour' booked in September, kicking off with QF7 SYD to DFW.
I'm after a single sector direct flight a few days later - DFW to MCO.

Any suggestions on keeping costs down for that flight?
Current booking is $1350 for the family of 4 - one way.

I've tried all the usual suspects (Vayama, Priceline, Kayak etc) and they're all returning the same.

Is there such a thing as the 'right time to book'?

Any suggestions most welcome.
Cheers:mrgreen:

Only 2 that do the route are AA and Spirit, have you checked out both of their websites?

Edit: Spirit is showing heaps of availability, giving 2 adults and 2 kids for around $400 all up.

Thanks Mak404matt. Yes I've also checked those 2 airline sites directly. I'm dropping Spirit from my list (the cheapest by far) due to numerous reports of poor reliability. It really comes down to how can I get the AA flights at the best price?? I contrast the DFW - MCO of $1350 to MCO - LAX for $700!! Cheers

No worries, best pricing I seem to be able to find is $1200 for 4 people, which is booked as DFW-MCO-MIA, but would involve getting agents to 'short check' your bags to MCO, and throwing away the last segment.

Fascinating!

LAX-MCO can be had for USD505 direct and USD530 with a connection on DL ... Different markets, different prices.
