Hi all,

Have 300 Delta points from a National car rental I think.
2 years ago they could not be transferred into another program.

I have booked a cheap ticket from Miami to LAX.
With the extra miles received what can I do with them?
I may have used my Velocity FF number so they would go there?
How many points can I expect?

Regards

If you have put your VA ff number in the Delta reservation you will get VA points (if an eligible flight)

If you put the Delta ff number in the reservation have a look on the Delta ff site

Just reviewed online ticket and there is nothing to indicate I pt my Velocity FF number in there.
I know I did add it in after reviewing website(if I was to buy ticket again)

1. Is it best to keep my Velocity FF number in?
2. If it is not eligible for Velocity FF can I claim Skymiles on return to AU?
3. What would you try to get Velocity or Skymiles?

Regards

With most(all?) ffp's its very hard, tending to impossible, to swap ff numbers after a flight if the ff number in the reservation is non earning

As to Velocity or Skymiles all depends on what you want to do with those miles. Everyone has different objectives from freq flyer programs
