Delta Booking reference not showing on checkmytrip

Hi, booked a flight direct through Delta web site - the reference number provided, which looks the same as all the other reference numbers I have for other flights (ie 6 numbers/letters). However, when entering the number into hcekmytrip it does not show up.

Can anyone tell me why - or if there is another reference number I should try and locate?

What booking system does Delta use? If it isn't Amadeus, then CMT won't work.

I have *not* seen the word Amadeus on the bottom of the booking details - that is a tad annoying.

If it is a purely DL booking it would not appear on CMT as DL doesn't use Amadeus.
