Coming back from Sydney on Sunday QF467 immediately after leaving, pulling back from the terminal the pilot announced our immediate return. The plane swung around and returned to the bay. The pilot announced the starter motor on one of the engines had failed. A first for the pilot in his 20 years experience - the starter motor didn't work and needed to be replaced! thanks transfer to another nearby plane the delay only held us up for about an hour.
