Hello!

Booking accommodation via debit card internationally(namely Singapore , Indonesia , Malaysia) can this be done? I've used my card to do this within Australia and they have always charged $100 security deposit to be returned when you checkout.. However I hear that some hotels wont accept them at all..

If anyone has some info I would like to know as I have a CC but not activated and would like to keep it that way if not I will just load up some funds so i'm in the positive.

Thanks Guys

Yes to all the above countries. On check in, they will swipe you CC (regardless of debit or not) and it will be treated as a credit card. Beware that most will take one nights deposit.

Cheers
