Edge is better because it is 1:1 for SQ/Virgin. Last time I checked DJs is less, 3:2 I think.

Thanks. Is there a link (website) that shows the conversion rate of DJ MR to airline programs? I looked everywhere but can't find...

Can't post it but there is certainly a Link.. I have less than 10 posts so cannot share Links..

Interestingly it says 1 MR = 1 Velocity point.. That's not the response I received in this thread.. Am I missing something?

2 Membership Rewards points is equal to 1 Velocity Points
200 Membership Rewards points is equal to 1 Airpoints Dollar
2 Membership Rewards points is equal to 1 KrisFlyer Mile
2 Membership Reward points is equal to 1 Flying Club Mile
2 Membership Rewards points is equal to 1 Asia Miles

1,000 Membership Rewards points is equal to 500 Starpoints

Theres more but you get the point!

The conversion rate is 2:1 for all Amex partner airlines except Qantas and Air NZ. Hhonors and SPG transfers are the same as normal Amex. I only realised all of this after I'd signed up for the card and paid the annual fee. I haven't used the card since.

I was also told that it was 1:1, (ie to Amex MR)although to be honest I didn't read the fine print, I shouldn't have listened to the sales person, I have only just applied, but looks like I will cancel before I get the card, unless I can switch it the qantas one, will need to call them tomorrow

We went SQ as it runs 1:1 and SQ has excellent pointy offers.

Well yes you earn DJ points every which way then those points convert 1 for 1 into SQ points.

Has the conversion rate been changed recently, I always thought it's 2 DJ membership points=1 FFP, but they did enhance the SPG redemption rate.

I have a DJ Platinum and it's still 2:1 for me.

[h=3]Singapore Airlines[/h] 2 Membership Rewards points is equal to 1 KrisFlyer Mile

A minimum of 5,000 points can be transferred to this Partner

What made you choose the Plat version with the higher annual fee? Do you spend a lot at DJ? Genuinely interested in where you perceive the value in it to be :)

I don’t see any value in the plat card. I quickly needed a bunch of Amex points at the time and I didn’t realise that they have regular bonus point promos for the non plat card. What pissed me off is that their advertising says in big writing that “1 Reward point = 1 Membership Reward Point”. Technically correct but misleading if you’ve had a normal Amex before. It did not even cross my mind that they'd have a different transfer ratio.

I can confirm that the 1000 DJ Amex points transferred two days ago have resulted in 500 SPG points landing in my SPG account. So it is still 2:1 transfer rate.

I just had the Dj card approved, however when they called to confirm a few things I questioned them on the redemption.
It is in fact 2:1 (2 DJ:1 velocity, SQ) so I changed over to the qantas option which is 1:0.75,
i think I will just get the bonus points and cancel before end of year
