Darwin International Lounge - Catalina Lounge now open

On 1st of September, the new lounge in the International departures at DRW opened. It's a contract lounge for all departees and transits. Current entry fee is $25 as an opening special but expected to be $45 from 1st October. Airlines offering access vouchers at check-in: Silk Air for J and PPS/Gold, not available for Star Alliance Gold. PPS will get a Plus one if asked for only. Philippine Airlines for J and Mabuhay Premier/Elite. If you're on a PR transit, you will get the voucher on arrival. Malaysia Airlines is still negotiating.
It's a silent lounge with hot and cold buffet, full bar, WiFi and a kids zone.

That's not terrible value at $45. I usually value lounge access at about $60 depending on the food quality. I'd always drink the value back, but that's not to say I'd spend the same on booze in the terminal (sort of an "it's there, so I'll take advantage" mentality)
