our god damn company's IT dept have a policy of cancelling your email password without warning, around every month or so (randomly). Leaving me suddenly without email access other than my loathed blackberry, until i can email them and ask for a new password to be issued.
This drives me insane! surely we cant be the only company mad enough to do this?
And i had a very important email to send out too!!

We have to change passwords every month. And you cant use the last 24 passwords.

So I cant use "AVC01 to AVC12" or similar, so now I just use "mar2102" etc.

So the dumb security policy actually reduces the security level.
