Can anyone comment on if there are express passes handed to tight connecting pax or those with status? Do said express passes (if they exist) work for security as well or are they only for immigration & customs?

From what I observed at LAX, those holding the express passes skipped the lengthy security queues. I myself didn't have one, but did observe this with others who were holding them.

The orange express passed handed out at LAX were given to those with tight connection, irrespective of status. It was an airport thing while TBIT was under reconstruction. They were good for immigration and customs.

Don't know if they are still given out as my last couple of landings, with the reconstruction complete, have between on time.

I received one about three weeks ago on an incoming AA flight landing at the eagles next, connecting to QF94. Not quite sure of the point of it given there was no security or customs to go through.

How about in DFW? Do you know if they have them or do yoy have any experience and tips for making my tight connection?

Depending on how bad immigration is when you land, but once you're past that I've found getting around DFW very efficient with their little monorail things.
