I will be travelling to Frankfurt on Cathay, with a 4hr transfer to a ICE train to Munich. I wanted to know how the Cathay arrivals lounge works at Frankfurt. Is it seperate the departures lounge, or shared (i.e. airside). Do I get my luggage before going to the lounge?

Also, I will have access to the Bahn lounge, is it going to be better spending time there, or is the Cathay arrivals lounge best?

Thanks for any advice.

From the documentation, you need to be travelling F or J with CX or at least a Gold MPC member. OneWorld wont cut it if you’re not in F or J.

As for it’s location, they’re vague, but most arrivals lounges are after immigration and customs, so you’ll need to pick up your bag first.

Ok, has anyone had any experience with this? A bit of googling suggested that the arrivals lounge is airside, before immigration/luggage, and you have to let your bags go round and round if you want to have a shower and a quick breakfast.

Does anyone here have experience with this?
