I have a few oneworld reward flights in J next May, one of which is CX255 HKG-LHR, and are a bit confused as to whether or not this flight will have the old or new J seats.

My belief was that CX had said that they won’t be upgrading the seating in their 747”s, but a new article in the China Daily last week Cathay Pacific upgrades new Long Haul Fleet may put a different light on it.

In addition the aircraft for this flight will take PE bookings.

Any help clearing this up would be appreciated. If the answer is the old seats then if possible, we will look for a routing which has better seats on it.

Thanks for the reply yohy?!, still plenty of time for a different routing to open up.

no worries :) if it were me i would take the 747 anyway, i prefer to old seats on the upper deck - my favourite way to fly
