Customs collecting Duty Free docket at 4:00am?

Will be flying QF8415 departing at 6am to Dubai next week. Bought some Duty Free bags at the DFS Duty Free at the Rocks. They required me to have the receipt and docket to be collected right after the Custom's Screening. Will the 'person' be around at 4am to collect these dockets? If not, will there be a box that I could place them into?

Unless things have changed, which is not impossible, there will be a "docket plucker" there, employed by the D/Free shops to take your docket. Otherwise, the shop will not be able to reconcile its stock register and it would have to pay the Duty/GST due.
