Flying does strange - and sometimes funny - things to people, and I am no different.
In any other walk/situation in life, at the very least when purchasing/using goods and services, I hope that at least people will be pleasant to my face, while we do business. And if you are lucky there might be an element of respect, courtesy, diligence, efficiency, etc. This is what I hope for, and usually get, and appreciate.
Not when it comes to flying though,
. Once we get the safety bit sorted, all I am looking for is the best seat I can afford that is moderately comfortable, and has good legroom.
All the rest is of secondary importance. I am happy to drink water; eat cheese sandwiches; have my baggage delayed/lost; be treated like dirt almost - you know, short, rude staff ignoring you, etc.; have my flight delayed, and so on. All these things can either be sorted out eventually, or just set aside.
Just so long as I can get the most comfortable seating experience I can afford, that is the be all and end all in my view.
Obviously people have different views.
It's a funny old world at times isn't it. ??
