Hi all. I'm flying VA cattle class BNE-LAX next weekend. I've never flown VA before so I'm just wondering if any of you have flown this route & class in the last few weeks & might be able to tell me what meal options are available for both lunch/dinner & breakfast please? Can you also tell me what's generally available in the self serve snack bar? Just trying to work out what I need to byo.

Thanks in advance.

I never saw a self service snack bar in economy? Anyway can ask for water any time in bottle. I asked and received without issue two meals at meal time and was offered more on finishing. Meat and veg is the usual in economy.. Only veg will require pre flight request and come out first!

Self service is a little shelf next to galley where you can get crisps and warm drinks. Very underwhelming.
The meals are pretty typical of what you get in Y with everyone on this route - nothing special but nothing terrible. Breakfast always seems to be an egg dish or pancakes.

Yes, the meals are fairly ordinary and not particularly large. But better than Delta!

The crisps are Ruffles, pretty bloody ordinary. Nothing healthy.
