After a string of excellent safety videos over the last few years (Safety in Paradise in the Cook Islands, All-Blacks themed, LOTR themed) I had to cringe over the last couple of flights I've taken with NZ at their current safety video. It's supposed to sound like a rap about the safety features using "It's Tricky" by RunDMC as the basis for the way it flows. It's called "It's Kiwi".
First time, mildly amusing trying to follow the lyrics; next three flights after that I spent trying to avoid it. Annoying. And I could imagine that there are plenty of people who wouldn't have a clue what was being said, meaning that it pretty much defeats the purpose of showing a safety video.
I was going to hyperlink it, but probably better for everyones audio sanity not too. If you really want to listen I'm sure a quick google will find it: however, you have been warned.
