Cruisewatch launches in Australia

I see that Cruisewatch has just launched in the Australian market. I've just had a brief look at the website and from what I can tell it looks pretty good, almost like the Skyscanner of cruises.

Has anyone used this website, and is it any good? Or other there other websites that are better for comparing cruise options?
I think something is a bit awry. I just priced the cruise I’m doing next year and the price found is double what we are paying - and a bit more. Plus, I don’t understand what to do next as it doesn’t give any details other than their price - not even the source. . ie where to from here?

Seems to have a few problems.

Just one example - Clicked on 10 Nights Tongan Discovery Cruise Feb9,2021 and the Itinerary function is stuffed also cruisesalefunder quotes oceanview at 1094pp and cruisewatch says 2255pp

Pretty useless at present

Even allowing for its US focus , Vacations to go seems the best general cruise booking site.
Searching for expedition and small ship cruises does not work well on vtogo.

Hi @Mattg , @tgh , @p--and--t , @Pushka

I’m Jennifer from Cruisewatch! I just wanted to jump into the discussion to address some of your interrogations. Your comparison to Skyscanner or Hopper is a good one: our goal is to alert you about the best cruise deals in the market and price drops from various sources.
To do so, we’re currently adding more and more sources so you can filter all cruises with the lowest prices we can find.

We just launched our service, so we’re still in a beta mode and will be fixing some issues — like the mentioned itinerary map — as soon as possible. Apologies for that.

We’re working hard on adding additional features and services, like submitting booking requests or adding additional data-driven prediction. So where we’re at in Australia is just the start, with more to come.

If you have any other questions, please just reply here or shoot me an email at [email protected].

Thank you and I hope to see you again on Cruisewatch!

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer. Thanks for the explanation. Hopefully not really interrogators but we do like checking out anything travel and many of us are very regular cruisers. Some only travel with one cruise line while others like me like to dabble in a mix according to itinerary and price. So I think you are akin to cruisefish? I’ve checked our cruise again and prices are in line with what I was expecting so it seems things are lining up better now. All the best.
