Wow, that's very odd timing... I only just checked myself 5 minutes ago, and confirmed that rooms were available at Crown Plaza Pelican Waters on the $99/night rate.

Tempting, Tempting, Tempting.

Just working out where is a good spot for the Australia Day long weekend!

BTW- had a booking in the last sale which credited correctly with PC points etc.

Excuse my ignorance but is Priority Club different from Priority Privilege? If so, how does one become a member of the latter?

PC is a loyalty scheme based on stays in IHG brand hotels (eg Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Intercontinental etc).
Priority Club Rewards Hotel Reservations

PP is a hotel discount scheme bought for a yearly fee offered for IHG brand hotels in Australia (and other countries, but it's normally country based)
Priority Privilege Global

For the particular promotion here, one does not need to be a PP member to get the 24 hour earlier access. PC membership will get you that as well.

Some of the hotels are now showing the rates as bookable (at $129 vs $99) so it gives you an idea of the availability. Old Sydney at the rocks seems to be very good value for a weekend stay.
