Crew carry-on taking up PAX OHSB space

I flew a QF 738 yesterday and today and they have a locker at the rear of the cabin labelled "crew baggage only". It looked like it had room for at least three average sized bags. And it was under utilised.

On topic - as others have said I always wonder why there aren't some designated storage areas - even underfloor with hatches. All about space saving I guess.

But as you say underutilization. On DJ 738's you also have space taken up by the galaxy tabs. Something at the front may be utilised more.
