Credit to DJ or QF?

I am DJ platinum, needing 300SCs to renew before August. Am also QF Platinum, having renewed already this year, but still 1800 SCs off Lifetime Gold.

I have a J trip to the US in June.

If i fly VA or Delta, the SYD -LAX return gives me 320 SCs, which renews my DJ platinum.

So, the question is, is there any benefit for me to credit all internal US flights to DJ (flying Virgin America or Delta)? Are there lifetime status benefits that are not public for DJ?

Or once i renew DJ, should i fly AA to chase my LTG with QF?

Very much a personal decision there Boris. You could forget DJ and chase LTG whilst still enjoying WP status at QF, or postpone QF LTG to requal DJ plat which leaves your flying options with staus, open to choice. There is no LT programmes currently announced with DJ that I'm aware of so perhaps a lot of that decision may rest with how much flying you intend to do over the next few years......if a lot, requal. DJ plat and give yourself options.......if bugger all, then I'd be trying to concrete in that QF LTG!
