Hey All

Right I am looking at doing a creative routing to get a decent J fare to LAS for a mates stag do.

I have found a interesting one so far with Thai, going from HKG to LAS via BKK which is around the $3k AUD mark which is pretty good, so would need a positioning flight to HKG from SYD which so far can he had with SQ for $1200 return.

Needs to be a Star Alliance carrier, I would fly United direct from SYD, but there Y product is rubbish and would prefere J as its going to be a weekend of carnage and would prefere a decent seat to sleep.

Best from BKK I have found is $3.9K with Continental.

Any other creative recommendations?

Edit Dates: Need to be in Vegas at the latest 11th Feb and Leave the following Monday. If I could arrive on the Thursday that would be good as I would to do a trip to the Grand Canyon and most of my mates wont be arriving till Friday.

If not deperate for *A then DL are consistently offering J at around $4600 SYD-LAX-SYD.

Yeah have seen that, but ideally would like the *A points to credit to my KF account as I will make KF Gold based on the Y class mileage, so yeah would be keen to credit to *A.

Yeah I guess so, whats the product like?

I have never flown with Air NZ though...

Old Y+ good, new Y+ just released even better. Not a flat bed, but good wide seat with good pitch. New config of 2-2-2 makes it easy to get in and out.
