I have 3695 Krys flyer miles having flown Singapore Airlines to Singapore and return from Adelaide as a part of a Holiday package.
I have tried to claim missing points on Velocity website to no avail. Can anyone advise if these miles are of any use please?

You can convert KrisFlyer miles into Velocity points (or vice versa) at a rate of 1:1.35. So 3,695 KF miles would convert to 2,737 Velocity points.

On its own, this number of points is not going to be of any use, but if you have (or are planning to collect) a reasonable sum of Velocity points aside from this, then you might as well convert them.

I don't know how you convert Kris Flyer points to Velocity (or why you would). You just phone Kris Flyer and book with your points on any Virgin Flight (or any Star Alliance flight). Also why lose points anyway. Also, 3695 points would be of no value. You need approx. 17,000 points Bris to Sydney return for one person.

You can do it very simply (in either direction) online.

Not much use if you only have 3,695 points. If you have a small number of points in one program, but a substantial number in the other, it makes sense to consolidate.

Yep, that's the whole point.
