Yesterday, we were trying to sort out tickets to Geneva for August.
We were concerned about some of the transit times in Zurich / before & Frankfurt / after long hauls via Singapore.
Singapore said we would have to clear baggage and check in at Zurich, all in the 1h 20min transit time
That does not make sense, surely the bags can be checked through from SYD to GVA.
It's just a simple airline issued return, not a hacker or multi stop ticketing.
The same thing will happen in Frankfurt on the return journey though we get about 1h 50min transit time.
Here is the route:
SYD > SIN > ZRH > GVA
GVA > FRA > SIN > SYD
