In September I was stuck in Orlando, FL due to Hurricane Ian. The airport closed on the Wednesday I was due to fly home, so I missed my connection in LAX. American Airlines eventually arranged new tickets for us to fly out on Sunday at the earliest.
The Insurance company (RACQ) have now asked after assessing the claim for over a month for written confirmation from the airline as to the reason the flight was delayed, the length of the delay and confirmation of any compensation provided by the airline.
Before I try to contact American Airlines, is there a best way for me to get this information from them from anyone's experience?
