Just organising AUS/NZ legs of a US colleagues intinerary, and just wondered if anyone knew the MCT and the "comfortable" connection time between a NZ domestic flight in AKL and QF25 departing from international? Also do NZ/QF interline? For some reason I've only ever done connections from intl->dom at AKL so really have no idea.

MCT at AKL for NZ dom-> NZ int has recently been increased to 75 minutes (but bizzarely with some exceptions).

I would expect MCT at AKL for NZ dom-> QF int to be the same or higher.

If you can ticket all on one ticket then fine either way (in theory should not be able to ticket if under MCT). If on separate tickets then strictly no protection obliged by the airlines even if you timed them to be several hours connection more than the MCT.

Yes NZ does interline with QF.

In practice 60 minutes is long enough, but not much margin for error. Earlier this year I had a 60 minute connection on separate tickets which I sweated out. Fortunately a kind soul (NZ check in agent) was able to check me in for the international flights remotely.
