I'm sure there's been at least one thread on this already.
I think QF WP was one of the lucky ones

Never flew on it, but did have a walk through at an airshow many years ago. It was very small (as was I).

There is a few lucky ones to get a flight on it.

It was on my bucket list but never made it.

I flew on an Air France Concorde from JFK to CDG in the late 1980s.

You flew on Concorde for speed, not comfort. I think I've said elsewhere it reminded me of the old DC9s in a lot of ways! Seats were quite narrow, 2x2, pitch was OK but nothing like what you get in a modern J class, let alone F. It was a very noisy aircraft, too - you had to speak quite loudly to converse with your neighbour.

Bear in mind it basically halved the time taken for a transatlantic crossing, from a bit over 7 hours down to 3.5 hours.

Flying altitude was very high - you could see some curvature of the earth out of the (very small) windows.

Being Air France, I shouldn't have been surprised when a fur-coat wearing lady sashayed down the aisle - with her poodle walking behind her!

And it was very expensive - in 1988, the one-way transatlantic crossing cost $5,000 - almost as much as a round-the-world F ticket at that time!! (If you were on a round-the-world F ticket, you still had to pay $5,000 for the Concorde flight - it was excluded from the normal round-the-world pricing).

Walked through it once in my old life as a quarantine inspector but never got to fly in it

There is one at the Intrepid Museum in NYC. Well worth the extra fee for the on board tour, especially if you get the kiwi chap as a guide who is a Concorde geek!

In the late 80's I think it was (would have to check), if you bought a Round World Business Class ticket on BA/QF you could to the Trans-Atlantic sector on Concorde for an extra $800.00. Did once splurge and do it (hey it was the 80's when you did silly things like that....). As the poster above says it was like flying in a DC9 but much noisier. Seats were OK for their day but we'd laugh at them today. The view was nice although for a tall guy like me it was hard to bend low enough to see out the small windows. The crew were fabulous and on BA at least, you really got the feeling that they loved their job. As said above, you flew on it for speed and the celebs were all over it. Although I suspect the day I flew it was a slow day as I did not recognise anyone, but then I probably wouldn't recognise a celeb unless they introduced themselves...... and that is not going to happen.

It was bookable as a QFF award for the same points as a trans-atlantic F award. I almost did it in 2003 when I was in NY with my family, but did not want to leave them to explore NY on their own for most of the short time we were in NY. In hind sight, perhaps I should have??

I flew on Concorde in 1986 from Budapest to Heathrow. The plane had brought some London dignitaries over for a promotional visit and replaced the normally scheduled BA flight for the return. As I remember it the seating was comfortable, perhaps soft leather. Over that route the plane did not fly supersonically and I don't recall any loud noise. I happened to sit next to the person who organised the flights and he took me up to the coughpit which looked very small. The flight crew were obviously very proud of the aircraft. Very impressive seeing the it land in Budapest.
