Just received this JetStar email...
We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with our friends at Qantas and put together a limited time deal for a complimentary Qantas Frequent Flyer membership.
In light of the important changes taking place in the credit card market, if you are a credit or charge card customer and transfer your points to Qantas Frequent Flyer before March 31st, 2009, Qantas is pleased to offer you complimentary membership to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (usually $82.50) (see eligibility conditions below).

What a crock email!

"We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with our friends at Qantas and put together a limited time deal for a complimentary Qantas Frequent Flyer membership."

Friends? Do I call family members friends?

"In our opinion, Qantas Frequent Flyer offers some of the best valued and widest awards around. "

Wow. How suprising.

Next they'll be telling me that Qantas is a great airline to fly!

Actually that statement would be very accurate! I wouldn't swap Qantas for any other airline in the world....
