Thanks but I know on velocity rewards it is there

What I meant is the booklet you get in the mail that says passes per year that directs you to

he will be gold after one sector on VA aircraft, even that was on EY flight number

I posed a question back when I first joined AFF, which from memory was never really answered (perhaps because no firm answer exists). It was which type of FFer do airlines like the best. The ones like me with lots of BIS flights, but mainly on cheap fares to make it all work, or the infrequent flyers who buy the premium offerings? I've thought about it and have decided it'd have to be the latter...less work for the same cash, so the ideal client for any airline must be those that buy the premium product everytime without fail and is loyal to just one airline. Infrequent, frequent flyers who spend on premium fares are therefore a very valuable commodity, only outdone by frequent, frequent flyers who spend on premium fares! Infrequent, frequent flyers who buy the cheapest of fares may not be that attractive to an airline, but they still don't want to lose them, hence silver and gold status.

Ah I see !! I've never seen a Silver pack - originally got status matched on Gold, then renewed Gold and acquired Platinum.

I notice Virgin lacks consistency across all of its material and is not particularly good at highlighting salient points. When it comes to terms and conditions I have found instances where a referenced clause is omitted. Flyers and other such informational material has been found lacking by many. I’d suggest they need to pay a little more attention on proofing before publishing.
