Complimentary Accommodation Partner Membership - am I doing it wrong?

Hi VFF,

I recently moved up from Gold to Plat. Previously when qualifying Gold I selected comp Gold Hilton HHonors membership.

Now I would like to opt in to HHonors Diamond which I think is within the T&Cs (18.8).

In the My Benefits section of the Velocity website the option is available to enrol in HHonors or IHG. I have filled in the details for Hilton but I receive a message that:

You have already completed your Complimentary Partner membership selection request.

That message persists under My Benefits during the session but next time I log in the form to select a hotel partner is available again.

I don't believe any transaction has actually taken place as I did not receive any confirmation email like I did when I opted in after qualifying Gold.

The car hire partner section behaves exactly the same way.

Can you explain?

It behaves the same regardless of browser, device or clearing the cache.

Ok then, it looks like a back end recheck. I suggest you call VFF, or PM the rep. here (although they should have read this thread by now.)

My Nan's account was doing the same thing recently. It just came good one day and worked. Hopefully VFF can identify the problem.
