I'd like to know if there is a site where you can easily compare FF points needed by different airlines to fly to the same destinations. Eg -- Perth-London on QF, Singapore, Malaysian. Ditto: Perth-USA.

Comparisons will very depending where you live. So you would need to find someone in Perth that has done it.

Note that some airline award flights based on distance (ie QF), whereas some do it by zones/regions (ie SQ) and this further complicates any comparisons..

Optimimisation of both systems will depend on your origin city and arrival city.

For example with SQ Perth to New Zealand is a good value redemption, whereas for me living in Melbourne there system would not be a good redemption and I would most likely just buya ticket rather than redeem points.

FF points needed by different airlines to fly to the same destinations is only one part. The other is FF points earned on different airlines.

1 FF mile on one airline is not the same value as 1 FF mile on another. Earn / burn ratio is often discussed of AFF & FT

Return PER-LON, in business, for selected frequent flyer programs that I've looked at:
Code:
AAdvantage 120,000
BMI Diamond Club 150,000
BMI Diamond Club 75,000 + 510 GBP (miles + cash option)
Cathay Asia Miles 145,000
Krisflyer (Saver) 110,500
Krisflyer (Std) 221,000
Malaysia Enrich 144,400
Thai Royal Orchid 177,000
Qantas 224,000
United Mileage Plus 150,000
Velocity (EK) 224,000
Note:
SQ includes 15% discount for booking online (but you can get a 25% discount if you book now). Note you can't actually go to London on a "saver" award because it's not available on A380/77W. But you could go to Manchester.

I have just done a survey on points required by different airlines. Other than domestic flights and a couple internationally with Virgin, the international carriers all seem to have the same number of points required.

I checked out Malaysai, Singapore, Cathay, Qantas, Virgin Atlantic, V Australia, Emirates.

V Australia is offering business class at the moment for economy points. A good deal if you are heading to the States in the next couple of weeks.
