Comp platinum reserve bonus points?

Seen this discussed but not confirmed, I have the Platinum charge & just received the comp Reserve.
If you spend the $500 do you get the Reserve 35,000 bonus points? Im thinking no... Haha

No...you wont get bonus points on the comp card...

I was wondering the same - I couldn't actually find anything in the t's and c;s that says you don't - you do get the free flight so why would you get some of the benefits and not others?

Because the flight is a standard benefit....

...whereas the points is an inducement to take out an Amex Card.
