HEy all,

Just hunting around for options to get the most points...
and the commonwelath bank sounds pretty dam good!!!

lots of bonus partners give you 2-3 points even up to 6 bonus points!!!

and the conversion rate is 500 combank points = 500 Frequent Flyers!

ANyone know about this card?
or if the benefits are really that good??

frow what i see, it looks pretty dam good!!!
appart from the fact you must have 3,600 points in your account for a transfer!!!

but that shouldnt be too hard, if you get 3 points per $ for some bonuses!!

here is the link to check it out!!!

Well a little more re-search makes me seem less interested!
or actually not at all...

as its a $250 a year membership for the platnium card.
which is their only card with Qantas benefits!!

although a geaat conversion, $250 a year is a rip off...
but the partners offer high reward points!!!

minimum 2 points per dollar - up to 6 points,
or 4,000 for an Audi test drive!!!!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Actually...

CBA Platinum offers seven (7) points per $ .... should you want to buy perfum from e - Fragrance.

However, overall, CBA Plat pays far more points per $ than ANZ, Westpac, NAB, or CB.

regards,

Yeah, it sounds pretty dam good,
but im wondering if the $250 p.a. is worth the extra points?

Is there any ellegability for the card?

Thanks very much for your help!

Usually the elligibility is a minimum P/A earnings.
With CB when I joined it was 100K but they've lowered it since.
Cheers.

Is there any ellegability for the card?

Asked my CBA manager and whilst she wouldn't be specific the implication was that the eligibility would vary with an individuals circumstances.
ie not a specific P/A amount but an overall picture.

I hope that helps :!:

I have found that Amex is the best for saving points due to also it's flexibility of beinable to transfer points to most airlines ( & not just one or two like most Visa or MC ). To be really flexible, we'd need a Visa or MC for places which doesn't take Amex. Does anyone know of a Visa or MC that earns similar points to Amex & points can be transferred to most popular airlines ? Thanks.
