Commbank reduces interest-free period from 55 to 44 days

FYI, Commbank has changed the interest-free period on all of its Awards credit cards from 55 to 44 days.

A lot of banks seem to be doing this, citibank also has. I am guessing it's because credit card balances are historically high, and this will make them a lot of money as interest rates (and profits) go down.

This is not even slightly new...it happened to my CBA awards cards nearly 12 months ago, completely unannounced.
