Combining Personal and Family Pooling Skywards Points?

Hi all,

I can't seem to find details about it online but hopefully someone with experience with this issue or advice can please help out with a work around before I try and call (and thanks in advance)

I transferred some points to Skyward in my personal name/account prior to setting up a family pool in which I then transferred a further quantity of points and now have two lots of points balances.

With upcoming travel with the family, I will be earning further miles in the pool account and was hoping to use these for upgrades if available? (but without combining the two I will be just short of the required!!)

Do they let you use or split miles redemption from a personal and family pool or is there any way I can transfer into one or the other without penalty? (Or am I stuffed!?)

I don't think you can. When I asked Emirates Support a few years back they told me it will only affect new points earns that will go to the pool account.
