It's the time of year for me to renew my yearly travel insurance.

I have been happy with TID and their service with the 1 claim I have ever done on about 6 policies, but a $50 difference in price between them and Columbus (using the AFF 20% I can get). That's still after I've used a TID coupon code.

Policies look very similar.

I did look at Allianz Global Assistance link via Velocity which would net me points, but couldn't find an option for a yearly policy on there.

Anyone suggest which way to go or should I just stick to what I know?

Hi Mella, I recently did a comparison for an annual policy for my and family situation. The swing for me was the way TID included adult children under the policy. Columbus was treating them as additional adults whereas with TID we were paying for 2 people.

Thanks Alby...the policy is only for me...no children included. I ended up going with what I know, and booked with TID again. They were fantastic with a claim I had, and quite confident of their services and terms and conditions.
