Has anyone claimed a Masterchef knife from Coles? If so what is the quality like? Obviously they are “free” but are they worth getting? Thanks

I got the Large Santoku knife just over a week ago.
It is a lot better than I expected it to be though anything is better than the old blunt knife I had been using.

I'll grab the Steak knifes and the Large Cook's knife next.

One thing that I found odd was when I handed the knife to the person at the check out to process was it was put through separately to the groceries I had.
On the docket it came up as a $35 sale then $35 discount and also gained 1 knife credit as it was over $20.

The utility knife feels reasonably heavy.
Its pretty sharp at the moment but the steel looks like it will blunt after a relatively short time. Sort of knife you'd have as a starter-out rather than a keeper
