Cold Comfort

In a moment of mental vacuousness, I added a couple of bottles of low priced Syrah to my Xmas discount Riesling order.
I knew it was dumb and the opened bottle winking at me last night confirmed the mental vacuosity….( invented word)
It ended up in the kitchen frig last night after one painful glass .
Tonight it is almost drinkable.. it's just the chill deceiving my palate of course , but anyway.. it is helping the processing thereof..

Made up word or not. You’re probably on the money (lol).
Perhaps it can be placed 8nto a snap lock bag, and frozen (A La Nigella) to be used later in some wine required dish?
