Who can top this fabulous little offering? Created at a tiny little coffee shop just behind Padma Resort in Legian Bali.

actually i am not a fan of coffee art. it detracts from what should be the star of the show - the coffee.
i would rather have a great coffee and bad art rather than the opposite...

Considering it was Bali YES surprisingly good.

Balla Vista was the name of the coffee shop - there is another shop not so far away called Mug Shots - FANTASTIC coffee - as good as any you can find in Australia.

I sometimes think I am missing out by neither liking nor (naturally in the circumstances) drinking coffee.
So many variations it seems.

Considering the skill required in properly done coffee art, I doubt you'd receive a coffee with great art that was poor.

We don't, it takes too much time and when there's a queue I don't want to waste my time while the barista stuffs around with fluff instead of making my hot chocolate.

Oh how I yearn for the days pre the me me me fraternity pervading our planet - being from an artistic background I just adore artistic expression of any persuasion - sigh!

Whatever - received this coffee at Intermezzo opposite the Village Cinemas in Southland last Wednesday night - my favourite local eating house - try it sometime if you in neighborhood - order the Tortellini Matriciana - it's not on menu but they will readily make it for you - hold on to your hats - it is quite laden with chili.

My contribution to this thread is some aviation coffee art (not my photos unfortunately). Would be excellent if the lounge barista could roll out one of these!
