What is QF doing to lobby the relevant governments to address these - e.g. if one searches for flights to Doha on the QF website, it is QF flight number to DXB but DXB-DOH is only offered on an EK code, which does not earn SCs.

There are loads of others too.

Yeah, I miss codeshare opportunities DXB to north African ports. Is it a government issue - or simply a choice by EK and/or QF not to codeshare those sectors?

Edit. Ah, I just saw the other thread re codeshares. Does appear to be regulatory.
 
It's all about Qantas having to apply to the International Air Services Commission for rights to fly to the destinations they currently lack.
