Codeshare baggage AC to virgin Aus

Hello!
Hoping for some info as it’s near impossible to get through to air lines these days.
Booked a business class ticket YVR - SYD Air Canada. Connect in SYD to BNE on Virgin Aus (codeshare) but economy as no business available when we booked. It’s all on the same itinerary/ticket.
I am wondering if the baggage allowance from the originate AC business class flight transfers over the the virgin aus flight? Just want to be prepared & may be more mindful about packing! Lol.
