Club class broken seat BA172 ?

Hi All

Just after some advice, just took BA172 JFK-LHR in J , the seat power stopped 5 min after take off
Given a night flight I was looking forward to reclining the seat to get some sleep .
The flight was full I couldn't move to another seat , the staff did manage to lower it slightly manually

Has anyone ever complained for something similar and was the compensation worth it ??

25000 but I was in F I thought it was very generous.
