Yes you can. It's under "Account Management". Says "Cancel card account".

Qantas Premier are terrible. Online closure submitted nearly 8 weeks ago and account is still 'pending closure'. Now I need to work out what the credit card number is to call up and cancel. I think I'll either call or write a letter going forward.

It took 2 months for my Qantas Premier to be closed online. Just a data point for those who churn - I would suggest that calling up or writing to cancel would be faster.

Looks like you can't close a Bendigo Bank account online. Searched everywhere on the website to no avail (although I have been proved wrong before )

Looked at the T*C's, it gave me the detail below. If anybody knows a hidden online shortcut that would be great. I want to close my account as I've received my reward but haven't been charged the annual fee. An online closure has more chance of success rather than a phone conversation. It worked well with CBA in the example I gave when starting this topic.

16 Stopping or Closing your account
16.1 You may request us to close your account only if it is in credit. You may close the account by:

1. (a) visiting one of our branches and telling us you wish to close the account; or
2. (b) sending a written request to us or Community Sector Banking if applicable; and returning to us all unused cheques and all cards linked to that account.
3. ((c) where an account has been forcibly closed by the Bank due to being overdrawn for an extended period of time, we may request such funds to be repaid before a new account will be established
