I might be a bit of a noob but I just booked my next flight to Singapore since the FF program changes. I clicked on the rules for the Saver fare and under the section for QFF it states "for the purposes of redeeming points or upgrades, this fare is classed as an economy fare"
But since booking and discussing with Q, I find it is classed as a Discount Economy fare, which in itself is fine. I just think its misleading to say its Economy and find out is actually classed as Discount Economy.

I presume the points and status will also be based on discount economy?

What is the fare class, and do you have a domestic flight connecting to the SIN flight? I know exactly what you are looking at, as you are looking at the blurb stating for the purposes of a flight upgrade award, this is considered as Economy.
The earn for "Economy" has changed as you now have flexible economy as well to consider.
