Hi All,

I need to submit a claim in writing to United (as per their website) to have my trip on SQ from ATH to SIN and then SIN to SYD credited

I have all my documentation except the orginal boarding passes.

Does anyone know if United will stilll credit without the original boarding passes?

Pretty much depends on your status, I think (although no one at UA would ever admit that).

All you can do is try it and see.

Oh, and as an afterthought, don't whatever you do send it to Manila, as they will knock it back straight away. Send it to Rapid City.

When I had this problem with a SQ flight to be credited to UA MP, I sent in the documentation, which they lost.

When I no longer had the boarding passes, UA asked for a "statement of flight activity" from SQ saying that I flew with them (showing that it hadn't been credited to any other FF program). Only trouble was that this was a pain to get out of SQ - especially if you leave it too long.

In the end, UA did find my boarding passes, which was lucky.

Yes, always send any documentation to Rapid City - that's the golden rule of my experience!
