As a new Frequent Flyer I often have my Blonde Moments and being a Redhead that says it all. Last year I booked several flights through Air Berlin and just naturally assumed that being a One World partner I would be able to claim them through Qantas. (First Mistake) When I purchased the tickets I joined Air Berlins Top Bonus Frequent Flyer program, and when I took the flights the points were sent there. I was silver Status and also a Qantas Club Member and well those flights would have got me to Gold. I have been advised from someone in Qantas that if I get email Air Berlin and request a transfer of Points to Qantas that it may happen and I will reach Gold. Would anyone have any prior knowledge of such happenings. I would be so appreciate of any advice.

I had a similar experience with Delta and Virgin..Delta creditted the points to my Velocity account. Sorry no experience with One World but definitely worth a try

Thanks for that, yes seems to be a rather sticky point, even had them stuck at Qantas HQ for moment, but it seems that if I request for the points to be transferred it should be approved. I shall let you Know how it goes.
