Claiming FF points

I missed out on frequent flyer points on my last trip to Malaysia because I booked through Flight Centre. I have booked a trip to Egypt now and want to find out how to claim the points with Singapore airlines. I have tried different ways but do not succeed. It seems like i am not ever going to get points on FF. If you know what to do please tell me. Jun e.

For you Singapore airlines Flight....have you joined their FF Program???

If so just make sure you tell them your FF number at check in.


For your other flight ...what airline...and what FF program were you with?

If you were already a member then you can normally claim afterwards.


If you were not a member why is it the Flight Centres fault? You still gain FF points irrespective of whether you book through a travel agent or direct, though different ticket classes can and do earn differenbt levels of points and in particular if you are flying on a partner or alliance airline to your FF Airline's program.

I have booked through the flight Centre on accassion and have always received FF points.

You should always check your Boarding pass to see if it has your FF number on it at check in and if not there have the staff member add it in for you. this means that if the agent stuffs up and leaves out your FF number that you pick it up.


The key to maximising your FF earn (and then burn) of various programs is you being pro-active.

Maybe the OP is refering to the fact that some SQ flights do not earn miles and that flight centre booked on the the cheapest non-earning flight fares.
