City Flyer Inflight Service - Public Holidays

Hi,

I've booked myself a long weekend away in Perth next Australia Day weekend, and unfortunately have to get back to work for WED 27/01/10, so I'll be flying back to BNE on Australia Day arvo. Can anyone tell me if the City Flyer Complimentary Drinks are offered on Public Holidays? Technically, QF say that they offer this on 'Weekdays'. Tuesday 26/01/10 is still a weekday

IME one PER-BNE/MEL/SYD free drinks happen from midday onwards every day of the week.

In my opinion Qantas are actually pretty good in looking after Perthites in this respect. The complimentary beer and wine starts on flights from about midday onwards, rather than the the 4pm or it is in the east. In fact, I've even had a ~9am flight from Perth to the east when they've offered the free booze.

I've been on flights on Monday public holidays that had the full Cityflyer service. But no free alcohol on weekends though (in my experience).

I've found this to be a little hit and miss. That being said, more often than not I've had free alcohol on weekends onboard, with there only being once that I haven't. That is from a sample of approximately 30 flights.

East coast i can report bar service 4pm onwards on the public holiday. None on weekend.

Havent flown public holiday to PER.
