I was going through my junk mail the other day and noticed a letter from Citibank offering me a choice of Gold or Silver Mastercard/Visa with a $10,000 credit limit, 1.9% balance transfer for 15 months and half the annual fee for the first year.
From what I understand all I need to do is fill out some minor details and avoid the pain of going through a full credit card application.
Could not have come at a better time and I will take advantage of the balance transfer. Assuming I take the Gold card then I can balance transfer $9,926 ($74 annual fee) to Amex which is 20.99% and save ~$2,370 in interest for 15 months and pay $223 in annual fees for a net gain of ~$2,150.
Anyone else get these type of offers?
P.S Sometimes good things do happen to good people.
