We are having some issues getting a statement on our newish Citi credit card.
We want to forward load this card with funds so we can pay all of the quarterly tax bills that come in October but we keep getting told a statement is not available at this time and to try later.
Did these guys give their website functions to the lowest bidder or is there something you know that we dont know? All I need is enough to put a cheque thru Australia Post.
Getting points at 0.65% is very attractive which works out at $650 for every 100,000 points.Amex Ultimate is $833 per 100,000 points but to their credit they have an earn rate 50% higher so you can get the numbers up quicker.

After 10 days of trying to get a statement on line we used the print out we got from going into the Melboune Citibank office a few weeks ago and lodged a cheque with Australia Post.
The site keeps telling me to try again some other time as it is currently not available.
I can get a running balance but nothing else.Is it me?

I did not reply to your first post as it confused me. I could not see why you needed a statement to enable you to credit your credit card account through Australia Post. Given your second post I presume you were looking for an account number.
This does not show in full against the running balance, presumably for security reasons.

It seems you have now used the information given to you by Citibank Melbourne(Credit Card number), to make a deposit through Australia Post. I hope this works well.

I think the problem you have had with the website is that you cannot view a Statement, as the first Statement on your account has not yet been created, given that it's a new account. You can only view recent transactions.

Once the account has been open a month and a Statement is created, you should be able to view Statements. By clicking on Statements it will give you the option of which Monthly Statements are available.

Hope this helps.

Thanks ric-melb for your thoughts.
We can see that there was a statement on 9th September because we started on 13th August! The Citi site tells me that much.
Maybe it will fix itself on 9th October but I am thinking it is unusual to be able to view over 7 weeks of transactions but I cannot get a statement that I can use at Australia Post.
Lucky we didnt chuck out the sheet Citibank Melbourne gave us as that is the only detail we have to make payments.
Any way we have prepaid a chunk today so we can earn a stack of points this month.

Well this card is giving me real worries.
Yesterday we got told that someone in Citi did not enrol us in QF rewards so we had 45000 non transferable points despite our request on August 23rd being acknowledged.
Still cannot get a statement off the web.
I have to get this fixed so I have lodged a complaint over the internet.
I still have time to use AMEX ULTIMATE to pay taxes and reload the card every 3 days as the amount exceeds the credit limit of that card.
Did anyone else get started with Citi Select in August and have it run properly??
So much for a premium card and service!!! NOT!!!
